Night time was always the right time for scooping the niblets. Even Jako knew that, or had known it, before that fateful autumn day when he invited the mind parasites to an all-you-can-eat brain buffet in Chez Noggin. After that things had gotten harder. Starla yanked Jako's leash. "Andale, Waddles!" Jako waddled after, his eyes blank, leaving a trail of drool like a slime trail along the crispy forest leaves. Somewhere ahead, where no one should be, a twig snapped.

I write stories, draw comics, and play music when I'm not doing story-related money jobs, volunteer work, reading for pleasure, or procrastinating.

I aim to write a draft of a novel during Write-a-thon, come zombies or zealots!
