Apply Now: Summer Write-a-thon Fundraising Intern

Clarion West is seeking a fundraising intern for the summer annual Write-a-thon (WAT). The WAT is our largest annual fundraiser and runs concurrently with our flagship six-week writing workshop. The WAT provides opportunities for writers to set and reach writing goals and ask for support from friends, family members, and the community through donations.

Write-a-thon participants are also invited to join local social events with the six-week workshop students, instructors, and the local writing community. The online format allows us to work with writers worldwide and often provides solitary writers an opportunity for community, accountability, and social and professional engagement.

Position Description:  This position is a key support role for the WAT program and fundraising staff and will provide hands-on experience with planning fundraising schedules, database management, peer-to-peer fundraising production, marketing, communication, and program administration. Learn to develop programs, manage volunteers, and the daily operations of a nonprofit writing organization.
