Register for 2023 Write-a-thon!!!

We are now open for 2023 Write-a-thon registrations!!! The Write-a-thon is a great opportunity to make progress on your writing goals in community, while participating in fun sprints, classes, social hours, and more.

It’s also our biggest fundraiser of the year — we’ll share with you everything you need to take off! Registration for the Write-a-thon itself is free.

Our popular Flash Fiction Groups* are back during this summer’s Write-a-thon. These groups are a perfect way to bring a more personal experience to your Write-a-thon, with the chance to write and critique brief stories each week in a small cohort, under the guidance and encouragement of Flash Fiction Mastermind Tara P. Campbell!

She's the author of a novel, TreeVolution, and four collections: Circe's Bicycle, Midnight at the Organporium (starred review at Publishers Weekly), Political AF: A Rage Collection, and Cabinet of Wrath: A Doll Collection."

*Note that an additional registration and fee is needed to take part in the Flash Fiction Groups. Registrations for this program will close Friday, June 16 to give us time to set up groups, so don’t miss the sign up window! You will receive email information about how to sign up for the Flash Fiction Groups once you’ve completed your main Write-a-thon registration.

We are deeply grateful to our programming partner, the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) for allowing us to bring craft and inspirational classes to this summer’s Write-a-thon participants!

Thank you also to community partners Seattle Urban Book Expo (SUBE), Sistah Scifi, Writing the Other, Two Hour Transport, Queer Sci Fi, and the Rambo Academy for Wayward Writers for helping us engage the broader community this summer!

Plus, don’t forget about our Summer of Science Fiction and Fantasy reading series and additional gatherings! Keep an eye on our events page for more summer events information coming soon!
