New Year's goals

I'm going to try to do more and better scripts, because I'm finding out I most like writing where I don't have to use a lot of words. Also passages that would go well with illustration, songs, if I can figure out song-writing; like that.

To keep myself sane. I need to get a lot of stuff from Clarion edited. When i'd heard stories from people who went in past years taking years to get stuff out the door, on the inside, i scoffed. Now i understand! Between the drive to create new things with what i've learned, plus the time i know it'll take to fix what i need to fix...it's easy to want to hide in a shell instead of getting things done.

The main thing to accomplish is finish revising my novel then start submitting it to agents, hopefully by the beginning of February. I'd also love to make a "pro" short fiction sale, but the only way to do that is to keep writing and submitting and improving, so I'm going to keep doing that...
