David G. Hartwell will be interviewed by Nebula Award-winner Eileen Gunn at the University branch of Seattle's University Book Store. Copies of his books will be available for signing after the reading. This is the fifth event in our 2009 season's "Six Summer Evenings of Science Fiction & Fantasy" reading series.
David G. Hartwell, Senior Editor for Tor Books and founder of the influential New York Review of Science Fiction, has published many of the important SF writers of the past forty years, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of both science fiction and fantasy. Not only does he know where the bodies are buried, he did some of the spadework himself. Hartwell will be interviewed on topics of art and commerce by the always-provocative Seattle writer Eileen Gunn.
