Delicious Clarion West Dessert Reception

The first event in Clarion West’s year-long celebration of 25 consecutive writers’ workshops took place in Seattle on February 29. ­Potlatch 17, a small literary SF convention, hosted a reception featuring tasty desserts and much reminiscing and updating among workshop alumni, instructors, and friends—plus appearances by two of the workshop’s founders, Marilyn J. Holt and J.T. Stewart.

“There were petits fours, cheese, cakes, and chocolate,” reports CW alumnus Bob Angell (‘04), “but the sweetest part was mingling with folks at your table and exchanging tales of times past.” Look for Bob’s full article on Potlatch 17 in the Spring 2008 issue of Clarion West’s member newsletter, The Seventh Week.
