“This platform connects to the Master Platform in the Imperial Palace,” Kriffen cut in. “You should feel it immediately. All you do is open the connection, channel energy into it, and the contents of the two platforms should exchange themselves. I’ve used it, but no one else has yet, so there’s some danger it’s personally tuned. I’m not sure about the recharge period -- more than five minutes but less than fifteen. And it hasn’t been put through its paces yet -- I was starting stress tests this week, but, well...”
“Oh, no worries,” the Tall Mage enthused, “If it’s going to break, I’ll have it broken by the end of the day.”
“Is true,” his partner added. “He has that knack.”
Bio
Phoebe Harris is a fantasy writer and a recovering CPA, recently transplanted to Michigan by her tenure-bound wife. In a former life, she attended Clarion West, earned a linguistics degree from Stanford, and fathered two amazing sons.

Writing Description
I seem to focus on an odd combination of symbolism and infrastructure. A friend once told me he felt like if he wandered into the sewage system in one of my cities, that it would be both logical and thematically appropriate.
Goals
My goal is to finish a chapter of my novel every two weeks. If I can write a little quicker than that, well, so much the better.
