Excerpt
Opposite Martin sat a monkey in a brocade vest. It nodded at him.
"If you would like a drink, you need only imagine it, and Rerun will fetch it for you," said the limo driver. He turned to Martin and smiled. "You have seen that television show 'What's Happening?' with the character also named Rerun?"
"How does the monkey know what I imagine?" Martin asked.
The limo driver laughed. "Because I invented him to be so! He is not a real monkey."

Writing Description
Full of humorous melancholy and wacky normalcy. I like when zombies woo small-town housewives and magical porn teaches life lessons.
Goals
My short stories tend to average around 3000 words. I'm going to aim for the equivalent of 6 stories in 6 weeks, or 18,000 words. I may not have the uninterrupted creative time that I did at CW, but I'll be damned if I'm not stubborn enough to make it happen anyway!
