Excerpt
My code name, the only name anyone calls me within the agency, is Kangaroo. Not because I'm from Australia, or because I can jump really high, but because I have an invisible magic pocket. The scientists who've examined me say that I have the ability to open a "hyperspace shunt"—a portal to a bounded but infinite dimension of spacetime, void of all matter or energy. They call it my pocket universe. It's very useful for smuggling things into places where they don't belong, or out of places where we don't want them to stay...

Goals
Goal 0: to continue posting new flash fiction every Friday at 512 Words or Fewer.
Goal 1: to finish the second draft of my novel Waypoint Kangaroo (adding 40,000+ words).
Goal 2: to boldly go where no one has gone before.
For the record, that's approximately 1,024 new words of fiction each day. Plus the boldly-going thing.
I plan to raise $128 or more. (Donations in powers of two suggested but not required.)
