A festive evening of refreshments, conversation, networking, nostalgia, and photo opps. Takes place in Room 607 of the Madison Concourse Hotel, in Madison, Wisconsin.
First, the interview
Nancy Pearl, Seattle’s own rock star librarian, interviews the ubercool author William Gibson at a benefit for Clarion West’s 25th Anniversary on Friday, June 20 at Kane Hall on the University of Washington campus. NPR commentator Nancy Pearl is the author of Book Lust and is the only librarian with her own action figure. William Gibson is the author of Spook Country, Pattern Recognition, and Virtual Light.
From June 22 through August 1, members of the Clarion West Community raised money for the workshop by doing what we do best: writing. More information on how this event went here.
